I am trying to use boostinq query.

{
"boosting" : {
"positive" : {
"term" : {
"field1" : "value1"
}
},
"negative" : {
"term" : {
"field2" : "value2"
}
},
"negative\_boost" : 0.2
}
}

I have understood it but could you tell me how does negative or
positive boost value is evaluated with the document.

Use explain to see how the score is calculated: [Elasticsearch Platform — Find real-time answers at scale | Elastic](http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/reference/api/search/explain.html).
