# NodeJS Version

Would like NodeJS to be updated in Kibana v7.17 to 16.20.2 or later due to its vulnerability

Hi @kfarr,

I see from the Kibana package.json that it's on 16.20.2, and that a [GitHub issue has not been created for that issue](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+Node+16.20). Do you mind creating a [new GitHub issue on the Kibana repo](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new/choose) with the details?
