# \_nodes/hot\_threads api is not responding

I ran curl -X GET "[http://127.0.0.1:9200/\_nodes/hot\_threads?interval=1d](http://127.0.0.1:9200/_nodes/hot_threads?interval=1d)". it didnt return any response. after then hot\_thread api is not returning any response even without any query params.  
ES version - 5.6
