# Not able to create index pattern in Kibana

I am able to see the indices created in EL with 'Index Management' menu in Kibana. But I am not able to see the indices in 'Create Index Pattern'.
Elastic Version = 6.8.6
Kibana version = 6.8.6

My bad . I was checking the indices which dont have any data. I have created the index and populated the data. Now able to see the index on 'creating the index pattern'.
