I am using KibanaVersion 4.0.3. When I try to mention index pattern as \*-test and I do have indexes na-test and eu-test, It still shows pattern matches 0% of existing indices and aliases

Can anyone please help me with this ?

Your index names `na-test` and `eu-test` do not have a date/time component to them (for example, `na-test-2016`). So uncheck the "Use event times to create index names" checkbox on this page and try again.
