# Not able to see logs which are 5 to 10 days old when queried on Kibana discover

So I have been working with ELK for some time now and just now discovered this problem. when I query the log data from the Kibana discover the logs dated 5 to 10 days back do not show up and it says no results found. Any idea as to why this is happening and how to solve it will be appreciated!

What do you have set as the time picker in Kibana? (top right)  
That interval will filter results from elasticsearch if they fall outside it.

Hey sorry i couldn't get back with you earlier! I figured out what was wrong. I has set all my doc ids to the same value so only one document was being recognized! I removed that filter and it works fine now. Thanks for your input !!
