# NullPointerException\[Null\] ElasticSearch 1.7

Hi,

I get this exception once in a while - when I use a plugin for aggregations.

This is the error message -

Error requesting cluster data:  
{"data":{"error":"Internal Error","statusCode":"500"},"status":500,"config":{"method":"GET","transformRequest":[null],"transformResponse":[null],"url":"https:///\_stats/docs,store","headers":{"Accept":"application/json, text/plain, _/_"}},"statusText":"Server Error"}

I am using ES 1.7  
The same request works sometimes - but at times it throws this Null Pointer exception.

Does anyone have any insight on this?
