# Num\_reduce\_phases in query response

Hello, we are using Elasticsearch's version 7.5.1 and noticed that sometimes (not always) Elasticsearch returns "num\_reduced\_phases" in query response for aggregate queries. Is there any specific query/scenario which can add this field in the response?
