# Number of App Engines - limits

We are in the process of promoting a production application that makes use of the Enterprise Search App Engine. Do we know any limitations on the optimal number of app engines we should include in production? We are using an Elasticsearch Index-based engine.

There are no hard limits to the number of engines you can have, no.
