# Number of Kafka topics for ELK configuration

Hi, I am using Filebeats, Kafka, Logstash and ES in my configuration. And I am going to add Metricbeats as well.  
Would it be a good idea to create a separate topic for Metricbeats in Kafka before sending data to the same instance of Logstash?
