I have two clouds, with 12 data nodes in each cloud = 24 data nodes
2 master nodes in each cloud = 4 master nodes

Does this configuration look good?
Can I adjust the above configuration? Or should I go for the below configuration.

I'm planning to have another cloud added.
10 data nodes per cloud = 30 data nodes
1 master node per cloud = 3 master nodes

It's not ideal, you really need an odd number of masters. Have a read of [Important Configuration Changes | Elasticsearch: The Definitive Guide [2.x] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/guide/2.x/important-configuration-changes.html#_minimum_master_nodes)

What is your definition of a cloud? What is the latency and throughput between clouds?
