# OAuth2.0 support for http\_poller input plugin

Hi,

As far as I know `http_poller` does not support OAuth. The only workaround I know of is using the http filter instead and generated the OAUTH token using a ruby filter as described here: [How to generate OAUTH2 token and use REST API to pull logs from Cloud?](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/how-to-generate-oauth2-token-and-use-rest-api-to-pull-logs-from-cloud/166624)
