# Observability -\> metrics -\> inventory. dashboards, where the data is stored?

Hi, I need to create dashboards identically to the ones in the kibana section, Observability -\> metrics -\> inventory. Where this data is stored for this dashboards?

According to the [docs](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/observability/current/configure-settings.html) by default the app looks for `metricbeat-*` and `metrics-*` data.
