Hi, I'm curious how to add geo data to an observer for the synthetic monitor. Is there a way to do it simply with a GUI? I have several ideas like custom pipeline and so on, but did I miss something?
There is great documentation that I used for heartbeat, but I didn't find anything like that for the synthetic monitor.
Thank you.

Hello @Fangy,

At the moment it's only possible to set `observer.geo.name` and it gets automatically mapped from the private/public location name running the monitor.

Are you looking to fill other observer data, like coordinates?

Hello @emilioalvap ,
Yes, we want to monitor the private network via several remote site monitors. We used HeartBeats in the past with local .yml with some GEO data inside. Now I'm trying to reproduce the same via a synthetic monitor. It will be nice to have an option to fill this data automatically via GUI.
This is used to draw lines on a map with availability.
Thank you.

The Synthetics UI does not provide that option yet. You could try setting the `observer.*` fields inside the private location policy custom fields section.

You can find the option in Fleet -\> Agent policies -\> \<Private location policy\> -\> Settings -\> Custom fields
