I'm creating user documentation and was wondering, is there an official name for the menu icon in the upper left of the Kibana GUI (the three lines) other than menu icon . I keep referring to it as a 'pancake icon' as its descriptive for users.

You mean the menu on the top left of Kibana? These three lines **☰**?

It is normally called [_hamburger menu_](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburger_button).

I'd rather a hamburger than pancakes anyway, thanks.
