Hi all,

I'm a newbie to ES, I wanna know whether it is officially supported to
update documents by query? I've done several researches in the mailing list
and the official document on [http://www.elasticsearch.org/](http://www.elasticsearch.org/). So far I've
come up with the plugin
[https://github.com/yakaz/elasticsearch-action-updatebyquery](https://github.com/yakaz/elasticsearch-action-updatebyquery). I've tried
this one and it seems pretty cool, but it is experimental and not released
in any official build.

Any official support for this feature? I don't want to manually scroll over
a big query result (maybe millions of documents) to do bulk update on the
client side.

Thanks
