# One of shards failed, index deleted, but data still visible

Can someone explain to me what's going on here.  
I'm on elastic cloud with hot-warm architecture.  
I was receiving warning 1 of 10 shards failed, I have deleted and recreated index with new docs.

As you can see in **Discover** that 79 docs are logged at the end, yet the previous data is still visible, I still get 1 of 10 shards failed warning when I select longer time filter and unable to query that data...

How can I clean this up?
