# Only read new lines

Hello I just started with elastic stack so maybe it's a stupid question.
I want to read log files live. So after every chance I only want to read the new lines not the whole file again.
Is this possible?

That's exactly what Logstash's file input (which is guess is what you're talking about) does with the default configuration.
