# Only show and save logs more than 40 characters of line

Hello!

Guys I need soluiton that How can I filter logs to only show and save logs contains more than 40 characters of line. If less I do not need it.

Looking forward to it ASAP!

With an Ingest Pipeline you could add the drop processor [Drop processor | Elasticsearch Guide [8.13] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/drop-processor.html)

For Logstash, perhaps the drop filter plugin [Drop filter plugin | Logstash Reference [8.13] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-drop.html)  
For Filebeat look at the drop\_event processor [Drop events | Filebeat Reference [8.13] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/drop-event.html)
