Hi, Tried to open elasticsearch lucene files (elasticsearch-0.20.2\elasticsearch-0.20.2\data\elasticsearch\nodes\0\indices\musicstore\4\index) with Luke, and I get the message "unknown format version: -11". Is it possible at all to open with Luke? Does elasticsearch saves to lucene the same way when working with lucene directly? Thanks, Ophir -- ---

The only way I have been able to use Luke is to close and re-open the index. Executing a flush would render the index useless. Is the Lucene version of Luke the same as the Elasticsearch version? Elasticsearch 0.20.2 uses Lucene version 3.6.2. Hi, Do you know if it is possible to open an elasticsearch shard (lucene 3.6.2) with c# code using lucene 3.0.3 for dot net? I tried the following code and I get the error "Unknown format version: -11", which is the same error when trying to open elasticsearch with luke that uses a lucene version older than 3.6.2.
