Hi, Do you know if it is possible to open an elasticsearch shard (lucene 3.6.2) with c# code using lucene 3.0.3 for dot net (the newest version for dot net)? OK, thanks, but if I want to use elasticsearch for indexing only while still working with lucene directly at search? Is there an older version of elasticsearch that works with lucene 3.0.2 (the max .net lucene version) or is there a configuration setting at elasticsearch that can solve it? Those versions are old and I am not sure if they are worth the hassle. Why not use a .NET client for Elasticsearch? If you did wish to continue to use [Lucene.NET](http://Lucene.NET), your Elasticsearch indicies would need to use only one shard.
