# Open source software for basic and role-managed access / authentication to Kibana and ElasticSearch

Could someone recommend an open source software for basic and role-managed access / authentication to Kibana and ElasticSearch?

Since X-pack is paid after 30-days trial version is used, so we are looking to find an alternative or an open-source / free solution for this.
