# Options in place of redis

Hello can anyone suggest what all plugins I can use in place of redis to pull data from a server and how.

I need to pull logs from remote servers and then use logstash elasticsearch and kibana for its analysis

That is still very open-ended. What do you have set up at the moment as you mentioned using Redis?

[This blog post](https://www.elastic.co/blog/small-medium-or-large-scaling-elasticsearch-and-evolving-the-elastic-stack-to-fit) describes a few different options and architectures and may be a good starting point.
