Elastic oranization wide role mapping fails with "Failed to save the role mapping due to an unknown error. Try again later."

Hi @prakashnair Welcome to the community.

If you would help you will need to the following

How did you install? Is the Stack Running with Security Enabled?

In addition with respect to the role mapping use case.

The Code / Configuration  
The Commands you ran to apply them.  
And the full resulting error codes / logs

Otherwise we will not be able to help.

Thank you for responding to my request.  
The issue is now resolved, there were some deleted role mappings that caused the issue.
