# Output elasticsearch of filebeat

I can't see anything in [Configure the Elasticsearch output | Filebeat Reference [8.2] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/elasticsearch-output.html), why do you want to do this?
