# Parsing Log With grok Filter

The example I provided early did it exactly for me.

Output

```auto
{
               "path" => "/tmp/time.data",
         "@timestamp" => 2017-03-24T09:01:43.541Z,
           "@version" => "1",
               "host" => "JImmys-MacBook-Pro.local",
            "message" => "2017-03-24T09:01:43.541",
               "type" => "apache-access",
    "event_timestamp" => "2017-03-24T09:01:43.541Z"
}

```
