Hi guys...

Noobs here, so be gentle:)
Is it possible to pass time parameter from top-right kibana web UI into logstash-jdbc-input statement?
Passing something like: startTime-endTime, or last 3 hours.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Welcome to this forum ! 🥳

Can you explain your usecase a bit?

Normally, I would expect that logstash-jdbc-input reads all data generated since the last call and ingest it into Elasticsearch. After all data is ingested into ElasticSearch you can choose a timerange of your choice in Kibana to view the data you want.

Best regards
Wolfram

I see...so ideally all data should be replicated in elastic, I mistakenly thought logstash-jdbc as just query tool.

Thx dude
