# Password set up is deprecated

i have subscribed to platinum trail version,,even though i am unable to access xpack pack security feature..  
error shows like this:  
\setup-passwords.bat is deprecated, use C:\elasticsearch-6.3.0\bin\elasticsearch-setup-passwords.bat  
Sets the passwords for reserved users

Hi

As the message states, `setup-passwords.bat` has been renamed to `elasticsearch-setup-passwords.bat` so please use this instead. See [our documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/setup-passwords.html)

Also please be aware that security is [by default disabled for trial licenses](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/configuring-security.html#configuring-security), so you will need to explicitly enable it by setting

```auto
xpack.security.enabled: true

```

in your `elasticsearch.yml`
