# Percolator issue, matching queries

Hi Team,
Issue module - percolator
Issue Version - 8.3 & 8.4
Configuration
Number of shards of percolator index - 2
Total documents indexed - 78000 approximate
Index size = 30MB
Details -
We have about 78000 queries indexed and when we percolate document against those, we are not getting all the matching queries. For a particular document which is suppose to match about 1000 queries, we are getting only 500 queries. But once we reduce the total number of queries indexed to 30000 queries, we get all matching queries that the document satisfies. Issue is reproducible in elasticsearch 8.3,8.4. But in older version of elasticsearch that is 7.15.2 its giving all the matching queries. Is there any settings introduced in 8.x that we are missing?
