# Persistent queue configuration in Windows OS using File IO

Hello team,
We are looking for some support on **Persistent queue configuration** in windows OS. We are using file IO and exposed some shared location with all write privilege. With guided configuration in elastic documentation with
queue:type "persisted". Can you please guide us so that before shifting the data logstash always writes in IO and than shift to elastic and flush it. We want to bring offline support so that no log data will be lost if connection got broken between logstash and elasticsearch.
