# PF\_RING on Packetbeat error

everybody,  
1、I want to use PF\_RING for Packetbeat and then install PF\_RING on my CentOS(1161 min),PF\_RING is work.  
see:  
[root@packetbeat packetbeat]# lsmod |grep pf\_ring  
pf\_ring 1234205 0  
2、 I clone the latest version beats from github,and with golang(version:1.8) to recompile it , compile successfully.but run ./packetbeat,it show error:panic: runtime error: cgo argument has Go pointer to Go pointer.  
3、i change the version of go (version:1.5),It cannot be recompiled ,show error:cannot find package "context" in any of:

so,i have no idea about how to user PF\_RING on packetbeat,anyone can help me?

We didn't test or maintain `pf_ring` for quite some time. Can you explain why you need it in your case? Versus using `af_packet`?

Now our bandwidth more than 10Gbit,so ,I don't know whether af\_packet lost packet or not.  
I saw pf\_ring can capture more than 10G .  
\_  
can you tell me what's the bandwidth that af\_packet can capture?
