# Pipeline output isolator pattern not working

I just converted a single pipeline to the mutli-pipeline as suggested [here](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/pipeline-to-pipeline.html#output-isolator-pattern)

When I stopped elasticsearch the file output stops working, the same problem as when it was a single pipeline. Am I missing something here?

Logstash Version 7.1.1
