# Planned Release for ES 2.3.4 and inclusion of Google Cloud Storage Plugin

Hello,

we are looking to use the snapshot / restore with the plugin added for Google Cloud Storage ([https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/13578](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/13578)) and have the question if this will be included in ES 2.3.4 and if so, when it is planned to be released?

Elastic does not announce release plans, and at this time the repository-gcs plugin is not slated to be (and I suspect will not be) back-ported to 2.x.
