# Platinum license with non-prod/prod

Let me explain our situation briefly.
We already have contracted platinum version of ES with 3 nodes. And I got two license files for non-prod and prod. In this case, can I adopt license for 3 nodes in each environments (3 nodes of platinum license for non-prod environment | 3 nodes of platinum license for production environment)?? So totally I can apply license in 6 nodes including non-prod environment, is that right?

The license is per cluster, if you have a license for a 3-node cluster, then you can have apply the license on a production cluster composed of 3-nodes, and you can have another different cluster with also 3-node with the non-production cluster.
