It's just an iFrame, it does not communicate back to the parent window to read the URL or anything like that. If you want to adjust the time range you use in the iFrame, you'll need to modify the URL in the iFrame.

If you're using the shortened url, I'm not sure this is possible. You should see all kind of state values in the URL otherwise, including the timestamps. Modifying values in the URL of the iFrame will change what loads in it.
