# Plotting Cumulative Distribution Function over Kibana

Hi All,

We need to plot the KPI as Cumulative Distribution Function. We could fine 2 alternative but stuck at step. Please help  
Alternative 1 : Plot Cumulative Sum and then chose Custom Metrics with Aggregation method as Unique count. This plot the unique count values in cumulative order. Now, We need to divide this unique count by total count to have Cumulative distribution in %. Can you please help how we can divide with total count of records in the chart.  
Alternative 2: Have custom plugin to directly plot the values in the charts with cumulative distribution.  
Can anyone share the plugin if they have developed ?

you could try to use time series visual builder (available in kibana 5.4) and `calculation` aggregation, to do something like you describe in alternative 1.
