Hello, As anyone encounter this error while install the SOC Workflow app ```auto [root@elk1 ~]# /usr/share/kibana/bin/./kibana-plugin install /usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip Kibana should not be run as root. Use --allow-root to continue. [root@elk1 ~]# /usr/share/kibana/bin/./kibana-plugin install /usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip --allow-root Attempting to transfer from /usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip Attempting to transfer from https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/kibana-plugins//usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip//usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip-7.6.1.zip Plugin installation was unsuccessful due to error "No valid url specified." ``` However I followed the guide on how to install > **[socprime/soc\_workflow\_app\_ce](https://github.com/socprime/soc_workflow_app_ce)** > > SOC Workflow App helps Security Analysts and Threat Hunters explore suspicious events, look into raw events arriving at Elastic stack and view Saved Searches saved by teammates. - socprime/soc\_work... from your logs ```auto [root@elk1 ~]# /usr/share/kibana/bin/./kibana-plugin install /usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip --allow-root ``` I don't see that you specify `file://` protocol. Could you follow instructions from [https://github.com/socprime/soc\_workflow\_app\_ce#soc-workflow-installation](https://github.com/socprime/soc_workflow_app_ce#soc-workflow-installation) ? ---

See the error I get after. [root@elk1 ~]# /usr/share/kibana/bin/./kibana-plugin install file://usr/share/kibana/soc\_workflow\_app\_ce/dist/soc\_workflow\_ce-master.zip --allow-root ```auto Attempting to transfer from file://usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip Error: ENOTFOUND Attempting to transfer from https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/kibana-plugins/file://usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip/file://usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip-7.6.1.zip Plugin installation was unsuccessful due to error "No valid url specified." ``` ---

I think it should start with `file:///` --\> `file:///usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip` 2. are you sure that `file://usr/share/kibana/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip` is a correct path? ---

I changed the path same error ```auto [root@elk1 ~]# /usr/share/kibana/bin/./kibana-plugin install file:///opt/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip --allow-root Attempting to transfer from file:///opt/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip Error: ENOTFOUND Attempting to transfer from https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/kibana-plugins/file:///opt/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip/file:///opt/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip-7.6.1.zip Plugin installation was unsuccessful due to error "No valid url specified." [root@elk1 ~]# /usr/share/kibana/bin/./kibana-plugin install file:///opt/soc_workflow_app_ce/dist/soc_workflow_ce-master.zip --allow-root Found previous install attempt. Deleting... Plugin installation was unsuccessful due to error "Cannot delete files/directories outside the current working directory. Can be overridden with the `force` option." ``` ---
