# Possible to find out what user created a Kibana object?

If Sheild is enabled, is there any way to determine which user created or last modified a Kibana object (dashboard, search, visualization)? Doesn't seem to be but thought I would check.

No, this isn't currently possible, as there is no information stored in the object regarding which user created the object. There are plans in the future to store this information, but it is a large project that will affect many areas of Kibana and isn't targeted for a release in the very near future.
