# Possible to upgrade from 0.9.x to 1.1.x?

Is it possible to upgrade directly from 0.9.x (in our case 0.9.10) to 1.1.x
(1.1.0), or is it necessary to go 'via' 1.0.x (1.0.2)?

Hi,
I assume that you mean 0.90.10 instead of 0.9.10?
You can upgrade directly, but similarly to an upgrade from 0.90 to 1.0, you
need to restart your whole cluster. It is not possible to do a rolling
upgrade.
