# Post upgrade to apm-server- 7-17-6, Elastic APM server is consuming more resources

I created this above topic/message but did not attach 'APM', is it the reason why I am not getting response for the above post?
Summary: after I upgraded apm server, I am able to see more resource usage (details in the above link). Details in the [link](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/apm-server-upgradation-to-7-17-6-is-consuming-more-resources/319266).
**APM Server version** :
7-17-6
**APM Agent language and version** :
Java / version : 1.33
NodeJs/ javascript/ Version: 3.38

Indeed, the APM Server team missed this one - sorry. We have automation to notify us of new topics with the APM & Server tags. I'll answer on the other topic.
