Is it possible to have a set of pre-defined filters on a dashboard so that certain filters get enabled/disabled based on the time of day? If this cannot be done "out-of-the-box", has anyone attempted something similar that they can share some into?

You can make a scripted field that describes the daytime (morning, afternoon, evening) and filter based on this scripted field.

I think thats not exactly what you described (enable/disable certain filters), but maybe it helps to solve your problem.
