# Problem de parsing logs?

Hello, I am pushing the data from kafka to elasticsearch using logstash, I am having the error below:

How can I fix the problem, did any body know where the problem is coming from?

You are trying to read the contents of a gzipped file, which is not supported by filebeat ([https://github.com/elastic/beats/issues/637](https://github.com/elastic/beats/issues/637)). You will need to unzip the contents in order to read them.
