# Problem importing data to kibana through logstash

above error occurs whenever i try connecting. My config file contains following code and i am using windows 10 OS.

input {  
file{  
path =\> "C:\Program Files\data\cars.csv"  
start\_position =\> "beginning"  
sincdb\_path =\> "/dev/null"  
}  
}  
filter{  
csv {  
separator =\> ","  
columns =\> ["maker", "model", "mileage", "manfacture\_year", "engine\_displacement", "engine\_power", "body\_type", "color\_slug", "stk\_year",  
"transmission", "door\_count", "seat\_count", "fuel\_type", "date\_created", "date\_last\_seen", "price\_eur" ]  
}

It's always better to post the output of an error as text on this forum instead of a screenshot. 🙂 Also, I'm moving your post to the Logstash forum.

I think the problem is with the space in the path (`Program Files`). Try running Logstash in a directory without a space in the path.
