# Problem to dele the index

My server is running of course.  
The index is in  
../elasticsearch-1.1.1/data/elasticsearch/nodes/1/indices/logstash-2014.08.19/2/index  
../elasticsearch-1.1.1/data/elasticsearch/nodes/1/indices/logstash-2014.08.19/3/index  
../elasticsearch-1.1.1/data/elasticsearch/nodes/1/indices/logstash-2014.08.19/0/index  
../elasticsearch-1.1.1/data/elasticsearch/nodes/1/indices/logstash-2014.08.19/4/index  
../elasticsearch-1.1.1/data/elasticsearch/nodes/1/indices/logstash-2014.08.19/1/index  
I do  
curl -XDELETE [http://searchdev1.superpages.com:9200/\*](http://searchdev1.superpages.com:9200/*)  
and it is still there  
I do  
curl -XDELETE [http://searchdev1.superpages.com:9200/logstash-2014.08.19](http://searchdev1.superpages.com:9200/logstash-2014.08.19)  
and it complains  
{"error":"IndexMissingException[[logstash-2014.08.19]  
missing]","status":404}

What I am doing wrong?
