Hello everyone,

I have a problem once i have configured SIEM and auditbeat on the "client" machine.

I configured one machine only with auditbeat and the coniguration standars. I will post below the configuration.

The problem is that when I enter Kibana SIEM and fix the fielddata (is there any way to make it more comfortable?), it appears as if I had 4 hosts configured. Attached image.

 ![hosts](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/elastic/original/3X/5/4/541271473e2036babcd16e4128766f0e85fd21bc.png)

Here i post the configuration of auditbeat:

```
###################### Auditbeat Configuration Example #######################
auditbeat.modules:
- module: auditd
  # Load audit rules from separate files. Same format as audit.rules(7).
  audit_rule_files: ['${path.config}/audit.rules.d/*.conf']
  #audit_rules: |
    ## Define audit rules here.
    ## Create file watches (-w) or syscall audits (-a or -A). Uncomment these
    ## examples or add your own rules.
    ## If you are on a 64 bit platform, everything should be running
    ## in 64 bit mode. This rule will detect any use of the 32 bit syscalls
    ## because this might be a sign of someone exploiting a hole in the 32
    ## bit API.
    #-a always,exit -F arch=b32 -S all -F key=32bit-abi
    ## Executions.
    #-a always,exit -F arch=b64 -S execve,execveat -k exec
    ## External access (warning: these can be expensive to audit).
    #-a always,exit -F arch=b64 -S accept,bind,connect -F key=external-access
    ## Identity changes.
    #-w /etc/group -p wa -k identity
    #-w /etc/passwd -p wa -k identity
    #-w /etc/gshadow -p wa -k identity
    ## Unauthorized access attempts.
    #-a always,exit -F arch=b64 -S open,creat,truncate,ftruncate,openat,open_by_handle_at -F exit=-EACCES -k access
    #-a always,exit -F arch=b64 -S open,creat,truncate,ftruncate,openat,open_by_handle_at -F exit=-EPERM -k access
Anyone can help me?
Thanks!
Hi @Aleix_Abrie_Prat - if you had to fix the fielddata you probably did not run `auditbeat setup` before running `auditbeat`? Can you try that and see if the problem persists?
Hi @cwurm ,
I can't do this. The output configurated in auditbeat is logstash, not elasticsearch ☹
How can i do with logstash output configurated?
Thanks!
Hi again @cwurm,
I've changed the output to elasticsearch and kibana and after execute the command auditbeat setup and start the service is working well in Kibana - SIEM.
Now the Index setup is finished and loaded the dashboards in elasticsearch and kibana respectively. Now if I configure auditbeat in another machine, I have to execute the command "auditbeat setup" again?
Thanks in advance
@Aleix_Abrie_Prat ,
you should only need to run the setup once.
thanks
Hi again,
Thanks for the information 🙂
I have one more question to do, sorry ☹
Now all is working well, but in the tab of Network i don't see the connections drawed in the map. It seems that there isn't the "plugin" or "processor" (i think in version 7.4 the ingest-geoip is a processor and not more plugin) but i don't know how to add this field to the index...
I am a little newbie on this subject, forgive.
Can you tell me how to ingest de geoip processor in my elasticsearch?
Thanks a lot 😃
Sincerely, Aleix.
@Aleix_Abrie_Prat,
Take a look at this page for details on setting up a GeoIP ingest pipeline:
[https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/auditbeat/current/auditbeat-geoip.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/auditbeat/current/auditbeat-geoip.html)
You can use the same process with other beats & ECS compliant sources as well.
Thanks
