# Problem with the map in kibana

Hello,
I have a problem with the map in kibana.
I use a geocoordinate map ( visualisation ) to have a look on the geo\_points returned by geoip from the client ip.
When i edit this map as a visualisation, there is no problem. I can see all the data on the map and the precision is adapted to the map zoom but when i save it and add it to a dashboard there is an issue.
The precision is no more adapted to the map zoom so to analyse the location data i have to return on the visualisation edit tool.
Do you have any idea ?

What Kibana version are you on?
It seems like you are using the "coordinate maps" visualization. Can you use the Maps-application? ([https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/maps.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/maps.html))
