Hey there! I'm trying to implement a custom scoring method for my query, and the query looks like this: [http://pastebin.com/exLftKpS](http://pastebin.com/exLftKpS)

However, when I view the results of the query, the score attribute on things is None, but I expected it to be at least 10. Is the custom\_score block of my query too high, so it's not indexing the right documents? Any insight would be appreciated!

Cheers,
Dwight

Maybe you just need to set track\_scores=true? [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/search-request-sort.html#\_track\_scores](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/search-request-sort.html#_track_scores)

So update: Using a sort will negate any scoring of the results (which makes sense in hindsight).
