# Pull Windows logs remotely via Winlogbeat

This is not possible. The ultimate purpose of Beats platform is always to read data locally so it publishes to a remote host.
You could, though, configure Windows to send logs to a remote Windows host and let Winlogbeat read it from there. I _think_ this is possible but needs to read Windows docs.
