# Puppet 6 support fo Elastic modules

Hello everyone 🙂
As I am new on this forum, I hope I'm posting in the right category and that my post isn't a duplicate (although I didn't found any precise info about this topic).
When I'm looking at the elastic modules on the [public puppet forge](https://forge.puppet.com/elastic/elasticsearch), I see that the version 6.0 of puppet is excluded from the supported versions ( Puppet \>= 4.5.0 \< 6.0.0).
As my client planned to move to Puppet 6, could somehow tell me if the support of this version is planned anytime on the future?

Hi @kzgrzendek! A change like this should be fairly test-able so it should be something that can be done. If there's an issue in the related github repository ([https://github.com/elastic/puppet-elasticsearch](https://github.com/elastic/puppet-elasticsearch)), could you add a comment with your input there, and if not, could you open a new issue requesting it as a feature?

Thanks for your answer. We will probably decide to use Puppet 5 instead, to limit the risks.
