# Pushing logs from mysql to aws ES using logstash

Hi ,

I am using logstash 5.6.3 and trying to push mysql table data to aws ES service(which is open to My Server . I have followed the following plugin to integrate AWS ES service

> logstash-output-amazon\_es - Logstash output plugin to sign and export logstash events to Amazon Elasticsearch Service

But this is not working out i am getting timeout error while sending records to aws ES

configuration file:

output {  
amazon\_es {  
hosts =\> ["[s-XXXXXXXXXXX.es.amazonaws.com](http://s-XXXXXXXXXXX.es.amazonaws.com)"]  
region =\> "us-east-1"  
index =\> "test-migrate"  
document\_type =\> "data"  
flush\_size =\> 500  
}  
}  
~

Hi

I have solved the issue with below configuration

output {  
elasticsearch {  
hosts =\> ["[test-xxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-1.es.amazonaws.com:443](http://test-xxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-1.es.amazonaws.com:443)"]  
ssl =\> true  
index =\> "phani-test-1"  
document\_type =\> "phaniv1"  
}  
}

i have added SSL port 443 with normal elasticsearch plugin it got worked
